Former Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Wednesday visited Shrimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra in Assam’s capital city to pay his last tribute to the former CM of the state Tarun Gogoi who breathed last on Monday evening.
Talking to InsideNortheast, Mukul Sangma said, “Tarun Gogoi started his political innings way and he has been into public life way before I joined. Gogoi and I, both were from the same Congress party and that is why our relation has been very different. It was just not as mere politicians but in addition to having that association as being in public lives from neighbouring states.”
