GUWAHATI: A tiger has been found dead in Assam's Kaziranga National Park on Saturday.
The dead tiger has been identified as a male Royal Bengal Tiger.
The carcass of the tiger was found in the Sidha Kathoni area of the park yesterday at noon by a patrol of forest rangers.

The post mortem report revealed the reason for the death of the tiger is due to fights with other tigers.
The carcass has been disposed of by the National Park authorities under their protocols.
In another tiger-related development, four tiger reserves of Assam have been accreditated by the National Committee of Conservation Assured Tiger Standards (CATS) recently including Kaziranga.
Apart from Kaziranga, Manas, Nameri and Orang shall also get CATS certified.
