Assam: Pradyut Bordoloi tried his best to join BJP, claims Pijush Hazarika

Minister Pijush Hazarika asserted that congress leader Pradyut Bordoloi made vigorous attempts to secure a place within the BJP fold. The minister's comments, made during a press interaction in Nagaon throwa light on the alleged political maneuvers of Bordoloi.

Hazarika's remarks hinted at Bordoloi's purported intentions to switch allegiance to the BJP, especially if his electoral fortunes wane. He stated that such speculations were not confined to the political arena alone, as even rival parties like the AIUDF purportedly echoed similar sentiments regarding Bordoloi's potential crossover.

The minister juxtaposed the lackluster attendance at Bordoloi's campaign rallies, notably contrasting them with the resounding support garnered by BJP candidates in adjacent constituencies. 

Furthermore, Hazarika's scathing critique extended to Bordoloi's political track record, questioning his suitability for the Nagaon constituency, given his prior electoral setbacks in Margherita. 

Responding to Bordoloi's allegations regarding BJP's collusion with the AIUDF, Hazarika refuted any such claims, citing past electoral dynamics as evidence. He reiterated the BJP's steadfast commitment to its electoral agenda, dismissing any insinuations of covert alliances with rival parties.
