The loss of the air-warriors in the AN 32 aircraft crash has not only left the families broken but also created a void in hearts of the Indian Air Force.

This was a tweet posted by the Indian Air Force twitter handle while the warriors were being paid tribute.
Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday paid tributes to five of the 13 IAF personnel, who lost their lives in the AN-32 crash in Arunachal Pradesh on June 3. Air Chief Marshal B.S. Dhanoa was also present at the ceremony held at the Palam Technical area here.
Rajnath Singh also took it to his tweeter handle, and tweeted: "Paid tributes to brave Air-warriors " data-focusable="true">@IAF_MCC, who lost their lives in the unfortunate An-32 crash on 03 June, 19 in Arunachal Pradesh. They served the nation with confidence and courage. I salute their sacrifice in the line of duty.
"Met with the families and friends of the deceased Air-warriors of An32 and shared my grief and heartfelt condolences with them. My thoughts and prayers are with them. May God give them strength to bear this monumental loss."
On Thursday, Air Marshal R.D. Mathur, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, paid tributes to the Air Force personnel at a wreath-laying ceremony in Jorhat.
The IAF recovered six bodies and mortal remains of seven of the air warriors on Thursday, 18 days after the crash. The remains were then brought to Jorhat in Assam.
