ITANAGAR: The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh BD Mishra on Wednesday emphazied on the early completion of the Miao-Vijoynagar road in the Changlang district of the state. The Governor informed that the non-monsoon months i.e., from December to March are the ideal months for the construction of the road.
Governor Mishra said this during a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein at the Raj Bhavan where they discussed current issues and development in the state.
Mishra said that if winter period is not intensively utilized, road availability for the people and the administration will keep on getting delayed.

Earlier on November 17, B D Mishra on Tuesday called for the timely completion of the strategically important Miao-Vijaynagar Road in Changlang district.
The road is being constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna.
The governor said the work must be completed within a timeframe for the benefit of the people living there.
He also asked the minister to resume Swachh Bharat Abhiyan activities in urban areas in adherence to the COVID-19 protocol.
