140 candidate filed nomination for 28 seats of N.C. Hills Autonomous Council Election.

Guwahati, January 4, 2019:

All together 140 candidates have filed nominations for 28 constituency for the N.C Hills Autonomous council election. After the scrutiny all the candidates’ nomination are found valid.

Among the entire constituency Jatinga has largest nomination with ten candidates and the lowest with 3 (three) candidates in Borail, Maibang west and Hadingma.

However the exact list will be declared on 7 January after the withdrawal of candidates. The election of the N.C. Hills Autonomous council will be held on 19 January
