The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) officials on Saturday announced the declaration of the results of the Higher Secondary examinations, 2019 before May 20th, 2019 while addressing the media in AHSEC office in Bamunimaidan in Guwahati.
The officials of AHSEC said, “There were certain allegations against us regarding question paper leaks and other such instances, but this year we were successful in conducting the examinations without such faults for which we have decided to declare the results before May 20th, 2019.”
AHSEC officials also announced: “We will also confer the Best Examination Centre award with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 to the examination centers which have successfully conducted the exam without anomalies and to the one which will be able to submit the result sheet at the earliest.”
The official also mentioned that there were 949 supervising officers and 47 observers were appointed for smooth conduct of the examinations. In the process, 230 students and 5 observers were expelled for violations of examination code of conduct.
