AIUDF list of candidates for Lok Sabha Elections, 2019

Guwahati, March 2, 2019:

With the Election Commission expected to announce the schedule for the Lok Sabha election within the next week, the scramble to secure tickets to contest the elections is on and there is a list of frontrunners of the All India Democratic Front (AIUDF). The party will field candidates in seven out of the fourteen Lok Sabha constituencies in Assam. They are Barpeta, Nagaon, Dhubri, Mangaldai, Koliabor, Karimganj, and Silchar. Out of these, candidates have been announced in all but one constituency, Silchar.

The following are the constituencies and the names of the AIUDF candidates who are expected to contest the elections:

Barpeta: Dr. Hafiz Rafikul Islam

Nagaon: Champak Kalita, Dr. Aditya Langthasa

Dhubri: Badaruddin Azmal

Mangoldoi: Majibor Rahman, Jeherul Islam

Koliabor: Haji Aminul Islam

Karimganj: Radhe Shyam Biswas

Silchar: Nil
