ASSAM: AJYCP STAGED PROTEST AGAINST THE CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL IN GUWAHATI

While massive protest swirls across the state against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016, another of the kind was lodged by the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad at the Tatelia area of Jalukbari in Guwahati on 12th May.

The protesters burnt wheels on the street as to convey their rage against the Proposed Bill. They chanted slogans against the bill and the government for its state of slumber.

The protest was interrupted by the Police force prohibiting it from taking into a violent turn.
