Flood warning has been issued across Assam by the Central Water Commission after a significant rise has been observed in the water level of the Brahmaputra.
This warning comes after the higher parts of the northeastern states witnessed an increase in rainfall in the last few days.
It may be mentioned here that the water level of the Brahmaputra has been rising constantly in lower parts of Assam.
Also, according to the latest weather reports, showers are expected in Assam on April 24 and 26.
