An FIR is being lodged against the principal of Blue Flowers English Medium HS School by the district administration of Assam's Hailakandi district today for the alleged violation of Children Rights and Juvenile Justice Act.
The FIR has been lodged for allowing minor children to take part in a road blockade at Rabindra Saranii in Hailakandi town.
The Hailakandi district administration has also served show-cause notice to Blue Flowers English Medium HS School for the same.

It is to be mentioned that the Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli on Tuesday has served show-cause notice to the principal of the school to explain as to why stern action should not be initiated for allowing a large number of minor school students in uniform to resort to road blockade. The school authorities have been given 48 hours time to reply to the show cause failing which stern action would be initiated that include cancellation of permission to run the school.
Children in school uniform resorted to road blockade in front of the school over poor condition of the road in the morning hours leading to traffic snarls causing inconvenience to motorists and pedestrians alike.
PWD officials gave written assurance to the school children that repairing of the roads would be done within July 31.
