Guwahati: Ahead of the Assembly polls in Assam, the state government has made the wearing of masks mandatory in all public places -- in offices, public vehicles, etc.

Thus, while we have seen most politicos campaigning without paying any heed to mask-wearing, social distancing or any other Covid-related protocols, there will be strict manning at the booths.
