"As and when the President of NSUI changes, changes in the organizational structure follow suit. All the committees have therefore been dissolved. Therefore, this is not entirely unusual. We will soon make the formal announcement," Baruah told Inside Northeast over the phone.
A youth Congress president informed us that the Committees had been formed in 2017 and they have been dissolved as their tenure is over. New members will be appointed shortly, he added.
It needs mention here that the AICC (All India Congress Committee) appointed Krishanu Baruah as State NSUI (National Students' Union of India) president on Saturday. According to AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, the AICC president has approved the appointment of Baruah.
