Assam Police Reshuffles the Post of Nine Police Officers

Guwahati, August 2, 2019:

In a major reshuffle of the police department Assam police administration in the Sarbananda Sonowal Government, as mentioned in an order on Thursday, August 1, 2019, nine police officers have been posted and transferred from their existing posts.

Two separate reshuffle orders undersigned one by Kumar Sanjay Krishna, additional chief secretary to the government of Assam, Home (A) Department and the other by Moniratna Mahanta, Secretary to the Government Assam has been issued on Thursday.

Hailakandi Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohneesh Mishra has been transferred and posted as SP, CM’s SVC.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Guwahati Ramandeep Kaur has been transferred and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police (L).

Assistant IGP (R), Guwahati, Ranjan Bhuyan has been transferred and posted as DCP (East), Guwahati.

Mihirjyoti Gayan, SP, CM’s SVC has been transferred and posted as SP, SB (SOU).

Pabindra Kr Nath, DCP (Administration), Guwahati has been transferred and posted as Hailakandi SP.

Assistant IGP (L) Ripul Das has been transferred and posted as DCP (Central), Guwahati.

Guwahati Central DCP Dharmendra Kumar Das has been transferred and posted as IGP (R).

On the other hand, DIGP (Security) Devojyoti Mukherjee has been transferred and posted as DIGP (Border).
