ASSAM: PROTEST AGAINST CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL 2016 IN CHARAIDEO DISTRICT

A huge protest rally was  organized against the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 today, in charaideo district. The rally was led from sonari public ground rounding the entire town and then was back to the Pavilion. The Protesters held placards chanting slogans. More than 30 thousand protesters joined the rally.

The protest saw the cooperation of different organizations like Akhil Gogoi’s Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti,  Jiten dutta’s Ulfa Kormo Parishad Sadasya and a large number of protesters from AJYCP, TAYPA, ATASU, who came forward and raised the issue.
