A security guard of the tea estate told mediapersons, "Four men came to the Estate with arms and ammunition and wanted to meet the manager. I went told the manager that the men had brought arms. After the discussion, I saw that they moved to a dark area. They talked to the manager. They were wearing military fatigues, and took the man away."
The kidnapped man's daughter, while talking to the media said, "This is the fruit of my father's labor. He has been picked up from his workplace. The owner has not given any response. They wanted to pick up the manager, but picked up my dad instead. The owner is not even here."
Dey's daughter has also demanded the owner of the tea estate to visit the tea estate to take stock of the situation. She further alleged, "He is 101% responsible for this. If he wants, he can bring my father back." She also appealed the militants to return her dad, after talking to the tea estate owners.
