UPPL president Pramod Boro has filed a defamation case against the BPF president Hagrama Mohilary and some other ten persons for making derogatory remarks against UPPL party and Pramod Boro on social media, Facebook and YouTube.
Addressing the reporters at a Press Conference held at UPPL party office today in Kokrajhar, UPPL secretary and spokesperson Wilson Hasda Boro has filed the complaint with CJM Court Kokrajhar on 13th August,registered case, CR No.34/20, under section 120(B)/500 IPC. UPPL party also filed a case against the Facebook India country head Ajit Mohan, YouTube India country head, Satya Raghavan. He said that BPF party has been fearing of massive defeat in the ensuing BTC election and that's why BPF party been making objectionable and derogatory remarks against the UPPL party. UPPL demands strict check on fake accounts on Facebook and YouTube channels.
