BJP-govt will soon lose its throne: AJYCP

Guwahati, October 23, 2018:

All the 46 organizations that called the 12hrs Assam Bandh led by Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) have been seen actively working for the bandh being successful.

the bandh has been called  against the meeting of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) with the Ministries of Home and External Affairs over the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016

Speaking to media, AJYCP general Secretary Palash Sangmai said, “The BJP government has shown their back to the people of Assam. The JPC which visited the state has done the survey in Barak Valley for two days but in Brahmmaputra Valley, the survey was concluded in just one day whereas we said that it should have been conducted in upper Assam, Middle Assam and the central areas of the state to which the chairman of the committee gave assurance to come back again for more investigations.”

He added, “If the Sonowal led BJP-government keeps on compromising with the issues of the state, his government will soon lose its throne.”
