BJP HAS HARMED HINDUS MORE THAN ANYBODY ELSE: TARUN GOGOI

Guwahati, November 6, 2018:

Former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi today lashed out at Bharatiya Banata Party (BJP).

“BJP talks about Hinduism but they have caused more harm to Hindus than anybody else,” Gogoi said while addressing a press conference in Guwahati.

Referring to the Dhola incident, Gogoi said, “All the victims of Dhola mayhem were Hindus. Most of the people left out of National Register of Citizens (NRC) are also Hindus.”

Gogoi added that the recent rape and murder victims in Assam are also Hindus.

The octogenarian politician blamed the state’s Home Department for the turmoil in Assam and said that the Dhola incident is a prime example. He added that it could be a political conspiracy too.

Talking about the upcoming Panchayat elections, Gogoi expressed his confidence of a good result for Congress.
