BREAKING | Pramila Rani Brahma to contest Lok Sabha Elections from Kokrajhar

Barama, March 12, 2019:

The race for the lone Lok Sabha seat of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) is heading towards a dramatic finish. Assam Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma will contest the election from the Constituency as Hagrama Mohilary’s Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) looks to consolidate power and influence in the region.

This announcement was formally made by BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary at Julee Maidan at Barama in Assam’s district. “We have no choice. Since we must win this seat, we are fielding Pramila Rani Brahma on behalf of the BPF”, he announces.

It is to be mentioned that the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha Constituency is now being represented by MP Naba Kr. Sarania.
