Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has once again accused Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal of coal syndicate in Assam’s Tinsukia district.

The APCC on Friday said that Sonowal is the sole reason for the destruction of the historic Patkai Hills.

APCC, in an official statement, stated that the BJP spokespersons have claimed that ‘no syndicate’ was operational in the state without providing the proof.

They alleged that the CM visits Tinsukia district every 15 days and takes account of the coal syndicate from the SP and DC, along with other authorities.

The APCC further mentioned that although the Congress party has provided relative documents, and video footage, Sunil Gurung Gobin Chetri, B Ganesh, Shankar Orang, Binod Gurung have been operating these syndicates. “They have produced fake documents and transporting the syndicated coals in 20 to 32 tired trucks,” it added.
