Jagiroad authorities recover explosives from Awadh-Assam Express

Guwahati, February 4, 2019:

A large number of explosives were recovered by authorities at Jagiroad railway station. The explosives were recovered from the Awadh-Assam Express which was headed to Upper Assam. A large number of gelatin sticks, as well as detonators, were recovered by the Jagiroad authorities.

Surprisingly, no one has been arrested in connection to the incident. The authorities recovered 160 Gelatin sticks and 500 detonators in the compartment of the AC corridor, which they suspect were being taken to Upper Assam.

The explosives are being taken to Guwahati by the Jagiroad authorities.
