Kaliabor Circle Officer arrested for demanding bribe

Guwahati, November 16, 2018:

Circle officer of Kaliabor was allegedly caught red handed by the Assam Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) team of V&AC on Friday.

Prafulla Kumar Bora , circle officer was apprehended while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000 from complainant Md Nazrul Islam. The accused had demanded a bribe of Rs. 30000 for land mutation

The bribe money has been seized from the possession of the accused. Connected files and documents have also been seized by the ACB team from the office of the Lat Mandal.
