Man held for ‘molesting’ minor girl

Guwahati (Assam), September 7, 2018:

An auto-rickshaw driver was arrested on Thursday night for allegedly molesting a minor girl in Guwahati’s Noonmati.

Police officials said the accused, Keshab Das, was arrested based on a complaint filed by the girl’s mother.

According to the girl’s mother, Keshab molested her daughter while she was heading home from tuition. However, the girl managed to escape from the spot. The police are interrogating the driver.
