ASSAM: TWO CADRES OF NDFB (S) APPREHENDED

The units of Red Horns Division launched a search operation based on specific information with police in Lahorijan, East Karbi Anglong district on 8^th June. In the ensuing operation, two cadres of NDFB(S) were apprehended along with one Russian made .22mm Pistol with magazine, ammunition and extortion letter of the organisation. The operation and apprehension of the cadres has definitely impeded the activities of NDFB(S) which is trying to establish a foothold in the Bodo dominated areas of East Karbianglong District.
