All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) Chief Badruddin Ajmal on Saturday lashed out at the BJP party and especially Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Dhubri MP made some shocking remarks while campaigning ahead of the Lok Sabha polls at Bongaigaon ahead of the high-voltage polls in the state.
"The Prime Minister is seeking to convert us (Muslims) and is trying to turn our country into a Hindu rashtra (nation), he is trying to alter the Constitution", Ajmal alleged.
"Both Hindus and Muslims from all over the country want to change the Prime Minister. Modi should be sent to Bangladesh, where he can be the Prime Minister, but he should not be the Prime Minister in India", he added.
Ajmal also took potshots at the Prime Minister for his self-appointed title of 'Chowkidar'. "The Chowkidar have given lakhs of crores of rupees to the likes of Nirav Modi and Lalit Modi. He said he would bring back black money and give fifteen lakhs to all, 2 crore jobs would be created, but he has not fulfilled any of his promises.."
Ajmal will contest the election from Dhubri Constituency where he is the sitting MP.
