SHOOTING OF ASSAMESE MOVIE ‘MIDNIGHT SONG’ COMPLETE

At a time when ‘Village Rockstars’, directed by Rima Das has brought laurels to Assam, another Assamese movie ‘Midnight Song’, is ready to hit the theatres soon. The film directed by Arunjit Bora is the first movie of the state to be produced in international collaboration.

Shooting of Midnight Song’ produced by Aparajita Bhuyan under the banner of Media People, has been completed in ten days. The film is based on relationship crisis genre mystery drama.

“The film is based on the story of Sanjiv Girivar’s ‘The Last Night’. The cast of ‘Midnight Song’ includes Kalpana Kalita, Manoj Borkotoky and Rupam Chetia. The music director is American singer Magen Scot and he is assisted by Rajdeep. Zublee and Scot have lent their voice,” Bora said.
