Diphu, August 10, 2019:

Three journalists were allegedly attacked while going to report at Kamini Sarkar Girl's High School.

The incident was reported on Friday when they visited the spot gather reports on the rumours spread on the misconduct of examination on Sanskrit subject. The journalists started enquiring the matter with students when the miscreants tried to assault the three journalists for reporting such news.

The three journalists are Prasanta Borah, Aditya Bhuye and Shanku Das.

Following this incident, three of them lodged a complaint to the Uttar Borbil police outpost and charges case under 57/19 IPC 147/150/341/325. The police is investigating the case.

The miscreants are yet to be detained.
