ASSAM: ELEPHANT BODY FOUND DEAD IN KOKRAJHAR

Dead body of a wild elephant was found at Ultapani Daughangpara encroached village under Ripu Reserve forest in Kokrajhar district today.

According to forest department official, some villagers noticed dead body of the wild elephant and informed the department who rushed the spot and confirmed. The forest official suspects the elephant might have been poisoned. According to the report post mortem will be conducted today.
