ASSAM: INTERNATIONAL LEVEL CROSSING AWARNESS DAY OBSERVED

As per directive of Railway Board, International Level Crossing Awareness day have been observed by the division on 7th June. Various activities have been performed at different locations in New tinsukia, Makum, new tinsukia to dibrugarh town, with distribution of safety leaflets for creating awareness the rule of crossing among the people. The International Level crossing Awareness week has been observed under the dynamic leadership of Sri Ram Bahadur Rai, Division Railway Manager, Masood Alam, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Tinsukia division and vibrant cooperation of all branch officers guided by Sri Shankar Chakraborty, Sr. Divisional Safety officer , Lakhyan Barman, assistant divisional safety officer along with safety counsellors and also other officials of safety organisations.

There will also be a roadshow which will be done on 7th June from DRM office premise to LC gate and back to DRM office via road over bridge which will be flagged off by DRM at DRM office premise.
