ASSAM: PROTEST AGAINST CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL 2016 BY APCC WORKERS IN KOKRAJHAR

To lodge protest against the most debated Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 the District Assam Pradesh Congress Committe held a rally. The workers held the rally from District Congress Rajiv Bhawan to the District Commissioner's Office in Kokrajhar District. The workers through the District Commissioner handed a memorandum to the Commissioner Rajendra Agarwal.  The rally was organized under the leadership of Biswajit Rai. The District and block level too participated in the rally.  The workers chanted slogans against the Government. The rally was also cooperated by NSUI,  Women Congress,  Seva Dal and Youth Congress.
