Assam: Two NSCN-U overground workers apprehended

22 July 2018:

Two overground workers of insurgent group National Socialist Council of Nagaland (Unification) were apprehended in a search operation by the police from Namtola area near Jaboka in Sonari on Sunday.

The arrested persons were identified as Holding Ato (39) and Pangchhi Kamhoa (39). The team seized Rs.5 lakh and two mobile phones from their possession.

According to official sources, the duo worked for self-styled “Capt” Adam Nogwo of NSCN-U. Further interrogation is on.
