A video voiced by the CM has urged people to stay aware of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In the cinematic video, Sangma says that the nation has to come together, which will send a “very powerful message to the rest of the world.” He also lauds the health workers who are working behind the scenes. In the cinematic video, Sangma also warns that although no cases have been detected in Meghalaya, they cannot take things “lightly”.
Now, the Government has made us of the Easter Sunday occasion to send out a powerful message to the fearful masses through prayer. Although the state of Meghalaya is yet to be touched by the virus, other NE states — Assam (29), Tripura (2), Arunachal Pradesh (1), Manipur (2), and Mizoram (1) — have reported positive cases.
