PM to inaugurate Sikkim’s Pakyong Airport

Gangtok (Sikkim), September 12, 2018:

Sikkim is looking forward to the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is coming to the state on September 23 to inaugurate the Pakyong Airport. This is Sikkim’s first commercial airport.

Chief Secretary AK Srivastava said, “I am very happy to share that the Hon’ble Prime Minister is visiting Sikkim for the second time and this time, he will be inaugurating the Pakyong Airport which is ready and has undergone trial on two occasions in March, 2018”.

The commercial operations are scheduled to commence from the first week of October
