Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has said that the newly launched 'School Fagat- Hansi' mission would bring visible changes and improvement in the education sector of the state while attending the Statehood Day Celebration, 2019 held at 1st Manipur Rifles Parade Ground.
N Biren Singh stated that a new revolution in the education sector should start from grassroots levels so that the state could produce hard-working, dedicated, sincere and patriotic citizens in the coming days.
Stating that the people are filled with talents and potentials, Singh said that there would be development in the state if more avenues are created for those talented people and assured that the Manipur government is working tirelessly and collectively for the development of the state. He appealed the government officials to work with sincerity and honesty for the welfare and development of the State. He mentioned that the State would honor those officials for their dedication and commitment and also appealed the people of the state to extend their love and support to the government towards making a peaceful, prosperous and developed State.
The CM also discussed the progress made by the 'Go to Village' mission which was introduced by the government in May, 2018 to provide good governance at the doorsteps of the people living in remote areas of the state. Mentioning that to execute such a mission was a bold step of the government, the CM stated that there was an initial apprehension that the mission would not be successful.
