Suspected JMB terrorist apprehended in Tripura

Guwahati, March 6, 2019:

The Tripura Police on Tuesday detained a suspected Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorist from West Tripura district.

The accused has been identified as Nazir Sheikh (25) and he originally hails from Murshidabad district of West Bengal.

Addressing the media, the Director General of Police, Akhil Kumar Shukla informed that the Tripura Police is interrogating the detained suspected terrorist and will try to explore all the possible links.
