Disaster averted as bomb squads diffuse 2 grenades found near Manipur school

Imphal, April 22, 2019:

In a shocking development in Manipur capital Imphal, two hand grenades were found right in front of a school on Monday. InsideNE sources report that the two hand grenades were found outside the gate of the girls' only Little Flower School located in Imphal West district.

It has been reported that the bombs were diffused by the bomb squad after they were alerted by school authorities.

It is not yet known who is responsible for planting the bombs. Although the alertness of the bomb squad prevented a major disaster from happening, this incident shows that terrorists, who target the most vulnerable, are nothing but cowards.
