The Cease work strike of state employees spearheaded by Joint Administrative Council of AMTUC & AMGEO, Manipur (an Apex Body of Employees, Workers and Pensioners) demanding implementation of 7th central pay scale which crossed 71 days has now called off as negotiations held with representatives of Manipur Secretariat Services Association alongwith Manipur Government services Federation and Manipur State Pensioner’s Union with State Governemnt under the chairmenship of CM N. Biren Singh.
An aggrement is signed after due deliberation and negotiations over implementation of 7th Pay Commision benefits to be given to the employees of the Government where the employees will get fitmen factors of 2.57 to 1st April 2019.
The benefits of 7th Pay Commision with the allowances at pre revised rate will be deposited to GPF acconts form 1st April 2019 to 31st March 2020.The 7th Pay benefits with revised allowances will be paid in cash on 1st April 2019.
The Governemnt will address the problems faced by the work charged muster roll and casual employees will be settled at the earliet and also Manipur Secretariat Services Association alongwith Manipur Government services Federation and Manipur State Pensioner’s Union agreed to call off the agitation with immediate effect.
