MANIPUR: GOLD BISCUITS SEIZED IN MANIPUR

In a yet another case, Tengoupal Battelion of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) apprehended one gold smuggler carrying gold biscuits. According to reports, three gold biscuits seized weighing approximately 498 grams worth 14.94 lakhs was seized at Permanent Vehicle Check Post(PVCP) in Khudengthabi. As sources has revealed, the gold was taken from  Moreh to Imphal, in a silver Van bearing the Regd No MN04A0266  which was stopped for check at PVCP. A minor age 15 was apprehended in relation to the case. While the apprehended gold was handed over to Custom Preventive Force, Moreh.
