MANIPUR: TWO ARRESTED FOR POSSESSING ILLEGAL HEROIN POWDER

A team of Narcotic and Affairs of Border (NAB), Manipur has arrested two persons for illegal possession of Heroin powder yesterday at around 5.30 pm. The two persons arrested are Hidangmayum Inao Sharma (43) s/o Late H. Nilamani Sharma of Yairipok Yambem Makha Leikai, PS- Andro, District- Imphal East and Hijam Tondum Singh (37) s/o Late H. Ibohal Singh of Yairipok Yambem Makha Leikai, PS- Andro, and District- Imphal East. They have been arrested from the Nagaram area near Punya Hyundai Car showroom for illegal possession of one kg of Heroin powder. Along with it, other incriminating articles were seized from their possession. A case has been registered at NAB Police Station and investigation is going on.
