The spate of bad weather in the North-Eastern states of India has continued as a cyclone ravaged many parts of the region on Monday.
The cyclone, which struck at around 8:30 am, dealt severe damage to parts of Manipur and Churachandpur district was most badly affected and about seventy houses were damaged in the area. Reports say that two persons were killed due to the cyclone.
Meanwhile, a church and many houses were destroyed in the Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya after the cyclone hit the region.
