MEGHALAYA: LIGHTNING STRIKE SETS MUKUL SANGMA’S HOUSE ON FIRE

Lightning strikes in Meghalaya today burnt down a traditional Garo house (Nok Achik) belonging to the former CM of Meghalaya, Dr Mukul Sangma. According to reports, the incident took place at about 3.30 p.m on Sunday. The house was situated in the village of Gambraga in Rangsakona constituency in West Garo Hills district. The fire that broke out resulted in destruction of the property.
