"The Indian authorities who deal with the talks are also well informed that the Indo-Naga political solution without Naga flag and constitution is not conclusive and that will create a room for future headache. We are looking for a lasting solution", Tuccu added.

In a communique issued by the Interlocutor’s office, it has been alleged that the NSCN (I-M) has been delaying the talks by raising the issues of a separate Naga national flag and constitution. “They have mischievously dragged in the Framework Agreement and began imputing imaginary contents to it”, it was alleged.

Ravi has further accused the organization of adopting a “procrastinating attitude to delay the settlement, raising the contentious symbolic issues of separate Naga national flag and constitution”.

It may be mentioned here that on Friday, Mr. Ravi had held detailed consultations for over three hours with the apex leadership of all the 14 Naga tribes of Nagaland, all the minority non-Naga tribes of Nagaland, the Nagaland Gaon Buthas Federation, the Nagaland Tribes Council, the Church leaders, and civil society organizations in Kohima.
