Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Amit Shah is down with swine flu and was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), New Delhi on Wednesday.
Amit Shah was admitted following complaints of chest congestion and breathing issues, PTI reported quoting unknown sources from AIIMS.
The BJP chief was admitted at around 9 PM on Wednesday. The doctors are monitoring his condition under the supervision of AIIMS director Randeep Guleria, according to PTI.
In a Tweet, Shah wrote “I have been diagnosed with swine flu for which the treatment is underway. With God's grace and your love and wishes, I hope to recover soon”.
Home Minister Rajnath Singh, along with the Congress party, were the first to take to Twitter and prayed for the leader’s speedy recovery.
