The Congress party has decided that none of the functionaries, or office bearer or any leader of the party shall speak before the press or give a television byte on the Ayodhya dispute, except the official Congress party's stand.

This decision has been taken on the day the Supreme Court has given the verdict on the contentious Ayodhya issue. Through a press communique, the Congress party intimated that the CWC is likely to take a stand on the stand, which will be the official version of the party, which will be communicated to all the states.
The historic “Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid” title dispute came to an end as the Supreme Court verdict gave its nod for the construction of Ram Mandir.
The historic judgement was made by a five-judges bench led by Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi. The bench also included justices S A Bobde, D Y Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.

A total of 2.77-acre land has been given to the Hindu parties by the Supreme Court with a trust to be formed by the Centre to monitor the construction of a Ram Mandir.
The Sunni Waqf Board will get 5 acres of alternate land, which will be accorded either by the state or the Centre.
Following the orders, prohibitory orders have been issued across Delhi to maintain public order. The security has been beefed up all across the sensitive zones across the city including the residents of CJI Ranjan Gogoi, S A Bobde, D Y Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.
