Nation Pays Rich Tributes to Former PM Rajiv Gandhi on His 75th Birth Anniversary

The country is celebrating the 75th Birth Anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, who was the 7th Prime Minister of India.

The nation also paid rich tributes to the former Prime Minister of India via Twitter.

Son, Rahul Gandhi took took to Twitter and posted, “Today we celebrate the 75th birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi ji, a patriot & a visionary, whose far sighted policies helped build India. To me, he was a loving father who taught me never to hate, to forgive & to love all beings. #Rajiv75 #SadbhavanaDiwas”

Daughter Priyanka Gandhi Bhadra also tweeted a picture with father Rajiv Gandhi, along with the caption, “From my father, I learned how to listen to people’s stories and find a place in my heart for them no matter how contrary to mine they might be. From him, I learned how to keep smiling and keep walking no matter how difficult the path might be. #RajivGandhi75 #SadbhavanaDiwas”

Meanwhile, Sonia Gandhi also shared a wedding video of her with Rajiv Gadhi few days back.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid tribute to the former CM and tweeted, “Tributes to our former PM Shri Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary.”

The Indian National Congress’ twitter handle tweeted, “Former President Dr. Pranab Mukherjee, former Vice President Hamid Ansari & senior Congress leaders pay homage to Former PM Shri Rajiv Gandhi on his 75th birth anniversary. #SadbhavanaDiwas #Rajiv75”

It is to be mentioned that former CM Dr. Manmohan Singh along with the Gandhi family paid homage to the former CM.
