Pak troops violate ceasefire in Kashmir's Poonch district

Kashmir, May 2, 2019:

The Pakistani troops on Tuesday initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation along the LoC (Line of Control) in Shahpur and Kirni Sectors of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) by small arms fire and shelling with mortars.

The shelling was reported at about 9:30 am in the morning.

As per sources, the Indian Army is retaliating befittingly.

It may be mentioned that ceasefire along the Line of Control has become increasingly common in recent months.
