Guwahati, February 28, 2019:

As of 19:15, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is yet to react to the release of captured IAF Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman after Pakistan Prime Minister announced in Parliament that he will be released tomorrow.

In the aftermath of the Pulwama attack where 42 jawans were martyred, PM Modi was allegedly shooting a film and expressed his condolences only on the next morning.

It is to be mentioned that the PM was taking part in a 'Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ election gimmick despite the opposition's requests not to do so due to the sensitive period the country is going through with enemy nation Pakistan repeatedly threatening war.

At the time when artists, intellectuals and the general public are popularizing trends of #AbhinandanMyHero, #BringBackAbhi, etc. on Twitter out of concern for the commander who has dared to risk his life for the nation, the failure of the PM to do so shows his priorities.
