A woman in Coimbatore of Tamil Nadu committed suicide after her father asked her to dispose of her pet dog. She also left a suicide note that read, “Save my dog, take care of my dog”.
24-year-old Kavitha was a private sector employee. She was rearing her pet dog ‘Caesar’ for the last two years.

The development took place after Kavitha’s neighbours got irritated by Caesar continuously barking on Wednesday night.
The irate neighbours told Kavitha's father to dispose of it following which he scolded her and asked her to leave the dog in some other area.
This upset her and she committed suicide by hanging from a fan in her room late on Thursday evening.

The body was recovered by Tamil Nadu police and sent for a postmortem.
