Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will be sworn-in as the Maharashtra Chief Minister today at Shivaji Park in Mumbai at around 6:40 pm, according to sources. Thackeray was earlier declared as the leader after the three-party alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress.
A final call will also be taken regarding the Deputy Chief Minister’s post. NCP’s Ajit Pawar and Jayant Patil. Aaditya Thackeray, reportedly, may shadow the CM instead of being part of the cabinet led by his father. However, sources revealed that two persons from the same family in cabinet berths could affect the image of the party.

It may be mentioned here that with the swearing-in of 59-year-old Uddhav Thackeray, Maharashtra will have a Chief Minister from the Shiv Sena after 20 long years. Narayan Rane was the last member from Shiv Sena to chair the Chief Ministerial post in 1999.

Uddhav Thackeray will be sworn-in at the sprawling Shivaji Park. It is the same site where Uddhav's father and Sena Founder Bal Thackeray used to address the famous Dussehra rallies.
